Artiste visuelle et littéraire

Écrivaine, artiste multidisciplinaire et de la performance, Michelle Loubert oeuvre à faire valoir la francophonie au nord de l’Ontario. Elle obtient son BFA de Concordia en (1999) et son BA Ed en (2003.) Loubert a aussi un Diplôme d’études technique de Sault College (2007.) En 2012, Michelle Loubert est reconnue pour son travail bénévole au Conseil des Arts d'Algoma. Le crayon de couleur de ses oeuvres se mêle à la fibre, à des cahiers Canada de son temps d'étudiante et à des collages identitaires. Ses créations vestimentaires sont en elles-mêmes des Happenings agençant le crochet, la mode écolo et les couleurs de son monde. Les textes de Michelle ainsi que ses performances et ses oeuvres multimédias  se retrouvent à la Brooklyn Art Library, dans les pages Instagrams des festivals nord ontariens et dans les collections privées. 

Writer, multidisciplinary and performance artist, Michelle Loubert works to promote the Francophonie in northern Ontario. She obtained her BFA from Concordia in (1999) and her BA Ed in (2003.) Loubert also has a Diploma of Technical Studies from Sault College (2007.) In 2012, Michelle Loubert was recognized for her volunteer work at the Algoma Arts Council. Loubert’s work explores francophone identity through collages mixing coloured pencil, material and fibre on Canada notebooks and various surfaces. Her clothing creations are in themselves Happenings combining crochet, eco-friendly fashion and the colours in her world. Michelle's texts, performances and multimedia works can be found at the Brooklyn Art Library, in the Instagram pages of festivals in Northern Ontario and in private collections.
